About Us | Chehalis Montessori

Hi, I am Charlie Devore the owner and teacher at Chehalis Montessori in Chehalis, WA. I have an active, creative, music loving, 12 year old daughter. We have a sweet corgi and 3 cats. We enjoy being in nature, on road trips and being creative.

I've spent over 27 years pursuing my passion of early childhood education. I took Montessori training at Montessori Teacher Preparation of Kansas City and received my certification through Montessori Educational Programs International for ages 2-6. I've had some amazing mentors over the years and have had the pleasure to work at some very inspiring Montessori schools. In 2019 I opened Chehalis Montessori and I am very passionate about creating an enriching and engaging classroom where children explore, learn and leave excited from the experience they've had here. My goal is to help children fall in love with learning, and to inspire them to never stop asking questions and seeking answers.

Co-Teacher

Fawn Grepo

Married with 2 kids she enjoys creative movement and being in nature. She has been with Chehalis Montessori since 2022 as an assistant teacher and co-teacher. She has taken the Montessori training and is working on retaining her certification. She brings peace, purposeful movement and empathy to our community.

CMC President

Megan Wright

Married with 3 children. She enjoys, hiking, family outings, and reading. New to the team, Megan is the president of our Chehalis Montessori Community (CMC) which brings past and present families of students together to create a community.

Administration Support

Deb Hayward

Married with two rescue dogs, she lives in Renton. A recovering IT project manager and department manager, she weaves her administration skills into magic behind the scenes to help keep the school orderly. Deb excels at fielding the "why?" question, enjoys video games, knitting, spreadsheets, gardening, and torturing her partner.
